Oven-Roasted Drumsticks and French Fries

Preheat oven to 425 F.

Take a large long glass dish and brush with vegetable oil and just a dash of ginger syrup. Take one 2.5 lb bag mostly frozen chicken drumsticks and arrange in bottom of dish. Wash seven to eight medium to small russet potatoes and cut into long, fry-like strips. Arrange around and among drumsticks. Mix in a liquid measure 1/8 cup olive oil, 1/8 cup vegetable oil, and 1/12 cup ginger syrp (ie bring from 1/4 to 1/3 cup). Drizzle over chicken and potatoes (more chicken). Sprinkle well with ground paprika, garlic salt, ground savory, and garlic w/ parsley. Bake for 65 minutes.

Serve. The potatoes effectively became oven-roasted french fries, and both them and the drumsticks had a nice full flavor; a bit of spice, but only a bit.
