I really like the monochromatic theme you have here. It's so very stark. It's much more black and white than gray. I live in a fairly rural area now, and I've seen scenes like this during the winter. So clear and crisp, with the cirrus clouds wisping across the sky, the moon a pale ghost, the trees etched in frost, the land itself obscured and made soft and smooth beneath a blanket of snow. It only takes a few bare features to give it depth; those hillocks to the southwest, the fence winding up the right side. It feels... lonely. The title suits it perfectly. The style isn't original, but in this day when so many go for complexity, simplicity often speaks louder.
