Shadow of the Barbed Baron 7

This is my character for our new Changeling: The Lost LARP chronicle: The Barbed Baron. Based on the barbed wire barons of late 1800s DeKalb, Illinois, he was a general, a leader of soldiers, and now a feared force among the Barony of the Lesser Ones, as well as a local legend in his region. This outfit contains numerous pieces I designed or altered. The armor on my bicep and thigh were originally bronze wall-hangings I re-purposed. My ever-present steampunk pocket compass fits the character well, as does the goblin-faced pin to which I've added a flamberge sword. The gray leather hat has been entirely re-worked with new stitching in gold and copper thread and a new band of copper and red leather held by copper brads in the back, brass rings, a copper leaf (he is, naturally, Autumn Court), and hand-made copper and gold barbed wire. Barbed wire turns out to be fairly easy to replicate, leading to the creation of a monocle where the tines hold a crude lens in place. The studded glove on my left hand is there both for intimidation and misdirection, as it's the Baron's bare right hand that is more dangerous. The necklace, another creation, adds a bit of autumn color, and the harmonica he uses to summon his hedge steed and put others on edge is just visible in his vest pocket; I found a nice battered old instrument to which I made a few alterations and repairs.
