Seussian Santa Hat 1

So we bought this cheap but very fun hat at a gas station. It looked cute, but it had a few problems; the cap portion was really too small to stay on securely given the way the upper portion bounces about. Also, I always felt that the cap portion LOOKED too small. So I added a wide elastic band on the inside and a much thicker band of white fur on the ouside to give it balance, both literally and aesthetically. I get a LOT of comments and compliments when I wear this one out during the holidays, and kids love it as well. This is the first of three pictures.
