Raoul and Gardner 2

On the left is Dan's Carthian Toreador Daeva and Peoples' Harpy, the devious Raoul, from our recent Vampire Chronicle. He's dressed up for the Masquerade Ball we held toward the end of it.

On the right is my Gangrel Lance. Despite a name change part way through the Chronicle to Michael, my character from our last LARP Chronicle continued to be called Gardner. He was notorious for his lack of intelligence, refusal to have ties with the mortal world, and bizarre fashion sense. Gardner wore whatever he happened to find and/or steal, leading to some very memorable outfits. He also wore several rosaries, spiked gloves, and a black-on-white Jolly Roger bandana, whether they went with his outfit or not (and most often they did not). Here he is dressed for the Masquerade Ball, and thus almost fashionable. He changed masks several times over the course of the night.

After the other PC Lances in the game murdered the Invictus Seneschal and the NPC Lance, including Gardner's sire, turned out to be VII, he was virtually the only Lance left in the city. The only other was a Gangrel Legate he managed to track down and convince to come back to the city to help start rebuilding his distrusted Covenant. He was formerly one of the Hounds and later became a Deputy; despite his lack of intelligence, he was extremely good at tracking down trouble and getting into strange places, at least in part because of his many different forms, but also due to his experience as a lookout in the Prohibition Era.
