Placid Little Mourning Dove 10

Doves are the symbol of peace, and I can see why after working with them at our local wildlife rescue center.  When I went in to check on the birds out in the aviary, the robins and starlings and finches went flying about wildly, as usual, but this little dove came right up to my foot and 'told me' that it was out of food.  After I filled its food dish, it happily dug in with me right there, and another even came over to eat with it.  7-11-14.
