I went out again to take more pictures on Imbolc, February 2nd. It was so cold I went through two sets of fresh batteries for my Sanyo, plus wound up having to recharge my Cannon. My mustache froze up also, as can be seen in later pictures here.
Built by DeKalb barbed wire baron Isaac Ellwood in the 1870s and maintained by successive generations until gifted to the DeKalb Park District in 1964 by Mrs. Erwin Perry Ellwood and her three children, this beautiful Victorian era mansion has many great opportunities for shots.
