Nice one. This is good. I wish the GOP would stop being such babies on not compromising. A lot of the programs they want to cut will hurt their base. A study found red states have more people per capita on welfare.

There was a time when compromise was how things were done. The Republican party of today is NOT the party of thirty years ago. Over time it's drifted farther and farther away from its base and more and more to the right. I believe that conservatives like Eisenhower or even Reagan would be astonished and ashamed if they could see its current incarnation.

I know. Today's GOP would never approve of the plans Eisenhower made for the interstate highway even though that is what made us a superpower.

And this is why our infrastructure is out-dated and failing. There are places where they're going BACK to gravel roads!

I know. There are many places here that are like that and it would help our local economy greatly if people reinvested in our infastructure. We have a lot of potential, many people who would be great business owners or even workers but there is little jobs for them or incentive to start business as there is not a lot of flow of traffic.

Trying to narrow all of our problems down to one man is just one OF those problems. There's a much wider scope to consider.
