I spotted this pair out on the water another day. And there stood their nest, empty. I went over to investigate and noticed that this pair was heading my way. Swiftly. And then took flight. Yaiii!
Okay, it wasn't THAT bad. I've been attacked by angry geese before. So long as you know how to handle them, you're okay. It's important NOT to turn your back on them and not to run fleeing, because they take this as a sign to attack. I stood my ground, raised my arms in front of me just in case, and they alighted. The female took to her nest, the male took up a position on the top of the culvert to watch over her, as you'll see in the following pictures.
