At the Old Train Station 22a

DeKalb was once a major train hub; it's the town in which modern barbed wire was born, and the barbed wire barons made their fortunes shipping it across the west. During World War I and II major manufacturing occurred here for the war effort. Even now, with only one track going through the town, there are remnants of its past everywhere, from old, disused rails to strip malls such as The Junction to old cabooses and rail cars used as businesses. This is one such remnant; this old train station is no longer used for people; it's main use now is as a depot and storage center for the railroad company.
