I am a dabbler. I am a creator. I am a teacher. Among my hobbies are lapidary, carving, sewing, cooking, poetry, short stories, world design, game design, roleplay, photography, graphic manipulation and creation, DJing, bump making, parody writing, remixing, recording parodies, altering and decorating hats and clothes, making walking sticks, staffs, and canes, and generally anything else that comes into my head. I cannot draw to save my life, but I love to read, I love to create, I love to reach out and touch the lives of others, and be touched in turn. I am a husband. I am a father. I am a bird owner. I am student. I am too many things for a brief paragraph to possibly communicate. So come know me, and let me know you. On KoL I am known as the DJ Prima Vera Angelhair.

Over the last few years my personal style has really... evolved. I've changed, and I've pushed a lot of my skills to new limits. I keep pushing them farther, learning more, and seeing just what I can do in myriad fields. I enjoy sharing what I learn with others, and hope to both take and give inspiration in the process.

Raccoon Journal 5 - Little Wonders

Journal Entry: Wed Nov 18, 2015, 6:40 AM

By now I am way behind on my raccoon journals; my new job is really keeping me busy, especially a recent promotion.  This journal is from 6-20-15.

We start with these baby blue-grey gnatcatchers.  They sadly did not survive, though we did our best for them.

The hummingbird, on the other hand, continued to get better, and was eventually released a few weeks later.

The young crow continues to do better; it was eventually moved to a crow farm, since he'll never be released. There he'll get good care.

As far of my new task of moving birds from the kindergarten aviary to the main one, I sometimes run into oddities.  One of the robins was remarkably docile for a few hours; I think he may have hit his head and dazed himself a bit for a time.  Eventually he started showing the proper degree of wariness.

We have our goslings and ducklings also are doing well, with the ducklings still kept contained for now.

The young great horned owl with the bad eye is out with the other two; we do not know yet fully if it will be released eventually.

Vinnie the turkey vulture has a new roommate: Eragon II, a young imprinted red-tailed hawk, not to be confused with the first Eragon from the previous year, whose injuries sadly proved too painful for him in the end.

Here are a few glimpses of two new residents, the only ones you're going to get; canines and their relatives are fairly shy.  These are baby gray foxes.

Speaking of shy, this coyote pup shows how shy is done.

We also revisit our friends the white fur foxes.  Yes, sadly, these two were probably raised for their fur, but the escaped and were found roaming feral in the city.  They've been in captivity a while now and, though domesticated technically, are far from tame.
