I am a dabbler. I am a creator. I am a teacher. Among my hobbies are lapidary, carving, sewing, cooking, poetry, short stories, world design, game design, roleplay, photography, graphic manipulation and creation, DJing, bump making, parody writing, remixing, recording parodies, altering and decorating hats and clothes, making walking sticks, staffs, and canes, and generally anything else that comes into my head. I cannot draw to save my life, but I love to read, I love to create, I love to reach out and touch the lives of others, and be touched in turn. I am a husband. I am a father. I am a bird owner. I am student. I am too many things for a brief paragraph to possibly communicate. So come know me, and let me know you. On KoL I am known as the DJ Prima Vera Angelhair.

Over the last couple of years my personal style has really... evolved. I've changed, and I've pushed a lot of my skills to new limits. I keep pushing them farther, learning more, and seeing just what I can do in myriad fields. I enjoy sharing what I learn with others, and hope to both take and give inspiration in the process.

Raccoon Journal 12 - A Late Farewell

Journal Entry: Mon May 25, 2015, 1:08 AM

So, this is the long overdue final journal of my 2014 volunteer season.  Due to many factors, including the death of my old computer, I've taken quite a while getting around to this.  In fact, I have to get to work immediately after this posting the first journal of this year!

First, a few pictures from around the center.

The coyote pups are as curious as ever.  Up to three from two, they'll be released in no time.

The fawns show another form of curiosity, one that will no doubt leave as they become adults.

The wildlife center also has many wild tenants, such as this squirrel that lives nearby,
seen here in the big tree out front.

A thirteen-lined ground squirrel was a more recent temporary resident.

Momma Possum is a permanent resident now, with her babies released.
She is blind and deaf, and therefore remarkably docile.

There are always animals in need of aid, such as this kestrel that is being fed.
