I am a dabbler. I am a creator. I am a teacher. Among my hobbies are lapidary, carving, sewing, cooking, poetry, short stories, world design, game design, roleplay, photography, graphic manipulation and creation, DJing, bump making, parody writing, remixing, recording parodies, altering and decorating hats and clothes, making walking sticks, staffs, and canes, and generally anything else that comes into my head. I cannot draw to save my life, but I love to read, I love to create, I love to reach out and touch the lives of others, and be touched in turn. I am a husband. I am a father. I am a bird owner. I am student. I am too many things for a brief paragraph to possibly communicate. So come know me, and let me know you. On KoL I am known as the DJ Prima Vera Angelhair.

Over the last couple of years my personal style has really... evolved. I've changed, and I've pushed a lot of my skills to new limits. I keep pushing them farther, learning more, and seeing just what I can do in myriad fields. I enjoy sharing what I learn with others, and hope to both take and give inspiration in the process.

Raccoon Journal 2: Keeping Busy

Journal Entry: Fri Jun 12, 2015, 12:13 PM
This raccoon journal is for May 30th. There aren't a lot of pictures, as I was kept quite busy lifting, cleaning,
and at one point putting screens up for the new songbird enclosure.  I spent a fair amount of time just working
to fix the staple gun after it got jammed by a stray staple.  Still, there are a few nice pics here, and
a good look around the place.  Another racoon and a third fawn also arrived while I was there.

Here are just a few thumbnails from around the property first.

I did quite a bit of bird feeding, including of these young grackles.

We're up to three goslings right now; the weather was rainy and cold, so we had to bring them in.

The young crow has the bandage off his wing and is testing it out, a good sign.

And we also have some baby robins and others in the incubators.

Only one raccoon picture this week, due to how much work I put in.

I did get plenty of squirrel pictures though, mostly of fox squirrels.

Lastly for his week we have a couple of pictures of the two young great horned owls that are outside.

Thank you; insects I find are some of the hardest subjects to get shots of, being so small and prone to moving swiftly; some are so thin the camera doesn't know how to focus properly, and you have to take over manually a bit!
